College of Consultors
The Bishop freely appoints a number of priests to act as a group of intimate consultors, whose further task, on the death or transfer of the Bishop, is to elect the Diocesan Administrator.

Cathedral Chapter
The Chapter is a college of priests, called canons, whose principal role in the new code of Canon Law is to celebrate the more solemn liturgical functions in the Cathedral. Distance in this Diocese limits such occasions to monthly meetings during the period from Easter to October.
The Chapter is presided over by the Provost, Mgr Robert McDonald.
